sunken gardens

yesterday, we planned a last minute outing to the sunken gardens in st. petersburg.  we got the boys all loaded up, packed a picnic lunch, and headed out for a new adventure.  it was a lot of fun.  beautiful flowers, happy boys who could explore away, lots of lizards to chase/look at, and way too many misquitoes who ate up brian and ellen for lunch. :(  we would totally go again...with bug spray in hand.  in fact, we'll probably go back soon because we saw a children's museum that is attached to the gardens and think the boys would love it!  here are some pictures of our adventure:  (brian had the camera for a lot of the trip...he was enjoying taking pics of all the cool flowers)
