december

oh, december.  where did you go??  this month went by so fast, i have a hard time remembering what we did!  it was full of family time, Christmas celebrations, and driving.  ok, not too much driving, but a total of over 20 hours is more than enough for me!  because i am so overwhelmed with the *over 300* pictures we took, i'm just going to load this post with a picture-story of our month.  so, here you go:

we started out with a masking tape city in our familiy room, including a runway for oakley's airplanes.  awesome.  it stayed there for a few days, then we made one in the playroom. and yes, i do dress my child in pants...most of the time.  he literally takes them off by the end of the day.  not a normal household practice, but he just says, "i don't need pants" and takes them off.  no clue where he gets it! :)

next up, family art nights.  daddy needed decorations to put on his door.  we made some for papa to put on his desk at work, too.  so much fun!

 next on the agenda:  gift exchange with nathan, kelly and greyson.  rachelle came over, too, so she could join in on the fun!  after the boys went to bed, all of the adults spent about 5 hours playing catan.  what a fun night of time with friends!

that pretty much wraps up this post.  i'm going to put ohio and the rest of the month in another post tomorrow.  mainly because i'm annoyed with blogger, who is making the picture-adding a real pain tonight.  after an hour of trying to upload pictures, i'm ready for bed!  ohio, time with my dad, Christmas at my mom's, and oakley's 2 1/2 year update are on my list of adventures to document...
