my dad took the day off of work to drive to kansas city and spend some quality time with me and oakley. brian was at work and we missed him! oakley had a ton of fun showing grandpa all of his new toys. we had lunch together and played more. it was great fun and oakley talked about it for a while after grandpa was gone. it was sweet. pics from our fun day:

Christmas at my mom's:
we spent friday night and saturday at my mom's house to celebrate Christmas with her, steve, amanda, chris, maddie, matt, melissa, and lawson. it was a good time! maddie and oakley were connected at the hip, as usual. they played hide and seek, played outside, and played with their new toys together. they are becoming quite the pair as they get older. lawson-cutest baby ever! we all got our baby fix this weekend. he slept through most of it. :) but we all got in a lot of snuggles. i think melissa and matt were ready to go home so they could get their baby back! thanks for a great weekend!
