on monday, we spent most of our day at the beach...again. we love going and this time joey, ellen, and koa went with us. we got there around lunchtime and were there until about five. it was a perfect day. the boys were awesome: they played in the waves and with their sand toys for a while, took naps (koa in his stroller, oakley rested in his) for almost an hour, more playtime, then we went to chipotle for dinner. it doesn't get much better than that! here is our day in pictures:

on a side note: ellen, koa and I went for a sunrise run this morning. 8 miles in an hour and a half...not too bad! it felt great outside because we had a storm move through last night. and the sunrise was amazing. just what i needed. a little piece of heaven. and on top of all that, we saw a lot of dolphins during our run. it was a perfect start to our day.
